There were tense moments in the Parliament complex where the YSRCP MPs and the TDP MPs were protesting against the Centre demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh. While the TDP MPs protested at the Gandhi statue, the YSRCP MPs staged a dharna at the parliament gate.
TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy animatedly walked up to the YSRCP MPs and chided Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy. He dared Subba Reddy to resign and get reelected. Then he symbolically twirled his mustashe and slapped his thigh as a mark of dare.
The YSRCP MPs too responded daring JC to resign his post. JC was angry at YV Subba Reddy’s Wednesday night comments that the TDP was resorting to a drama in the name of resigning from the ministry.
