Pawan Kalyan’s verbal attacks are becoming sharper and his political comments are becoming more and more incisive. Recently during his tour of North Andhra, the Jana Sena chief had made an interesting prediction. He said the first seat that the Jana Sena will win is Payakaraopet.
It is in Payakaraopet that two youths, both diehard fans of Pawan Kalyan, died of electrocution while tying banners welcoming Pawan. Pawan said that sacrifices such as these would make the party victorious. He called on the parents of both the deceased and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each he said he would ensure that the wives of the deceased would be given jobs. He said the party would stand by the affected families.
Recalling that Payakaraopet was the birth place of great Telugu poet Gurajada Apparao, he said that it was sad to see that Rayavaram where he was born did not boast of a junior college. He said the literacy levels in the region were abysmally low. He said Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao had promised a degree college to the region, but it never materialized. He also pointed out that the local youths were not being given jobs in the local SEZ. The chief minister is only interested in Amaravati, not Payakaraopet. He said there was corruption even in Swach Bharat and said that the effluents from Hetero plant were hitting the fisher-folk badly. He said that he had asked the people to vote for the TDP as he did not want to divide the votes. But, this time around, Jana Sena will win Payakaraopet, he said.
