Srinivasulu and his wife Rama Devi along with his brother in law Ramesh were running an oil shop in Hyderabad.  They hailed from Cholavaram village of Racharla mandal in Prakasham district.  Rama Devi was maintaining an illegal affair with her village Sarpanch Madhusudhan Reddy.

The victim's wife,  brother in law and the Sarpanch hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Srinivasulu.  They made some insurance policies on Rama Devi's husband name and also took some loans by mortgageing the insurance bonds.

When they were talking on road,  the gang pushed Srinivasulu into the speeding lorry. Moin throttled the seriously injured man and informed police that Srinivasulu was hit by vehicle and died on the spot.

Based on a complaint lodged by his family members,  police investigated into the incident and cracked the mystery. Ramana and Moin were arrested.  Rama Devi,  Ramesh and others were obsconding, DSP Khadar Pasha said.
