The ruling TDP and YSR Congress Party indulged in mudslinging on the enforcement of 108 Ambulances . It all began when YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu deliberately sent an empty ambulance enroute to his public meeting conducted at Gurla crossroads in Vizianagaram district. However, he gave way to the smooth passage of ambulance by stopping his speech .
In a sharp and quick response, TDP leaders said that the ambulance was carrying a person injured in a road accident. They rubbished Jagan allegations and presented the evidences of the patient shifted to hospital by ambulance in the press conference. However, the YSRCP leaders claimed that they were fabricated reports.
Earlier, Jagan made way to an auto carrying a pregnant woman at a public meeting. He took on TDP government for the neglect of improving the ambulance services. The availability of ambulance services in Andhra was in bad shape ever since the TDP came to power in the state.
